It has been a super long while, and my hope is to actually devote some time to blogging this year, but there's no better time than the present
And this is the present :).
I have been a subscriber to stitch fix for about 5 months now and I LOVE seeing what other people get in their boxes, seeing their pictures in their clothes, and then seeing what they select. So, I wanted to do the same thing....
For those of you who don't know about stitch fix, it's a monthly subscription for clothes! Whoop Whoop! Each month a stylist sends you five pieces of clothing and/or accessories. It comes to your doorstep each month and then you decide what to keep and send the rest back.
You can find out more by clicking here.
I included the prices because I know I always wanted to know about how much the items cost. However, you get some choice on the price range of things. I said I was willing to pay more for dresses, pants, and shirts, but my sister started Stitchfix and selected "the cheaper, the better" on all categories :). It's really up to you.
And, so you can get a better idea of what might come in a box, or if you just want to see what I got, here is my fix this month.
This is my fix after I took it out of the box. So fancy...
I thought it was kind of cute, but I didn't love how big it was on the bottom so I didn't keep this one.
The next item I tried on was the Brook Dot Print Tie-Waist Top ($54.00).
I really didn't like this shirt even when I saw it in the box. I don't like this style of shirt and I don't like how they look on me so I sent this back.
Next was the Emily Lightweight Chevron Infinity Scarf ($32.00).
Very cute, but I REALLY don't need any more scarves, so I sent this back too.
Next was the Sam Hi-Lo Short Sleeve Tee ($44.00).
I love anything green because my eyes are green and this shirt was sooo cute and sooooo comfy. I could sleep in it! I kept this one!
Last was the Dean Ankle Zip Skinny Jean ($78.00).
I am wearing these with boots because I was already planning outfits with my cute new green shirt :). This is my fifth Stitchfix and I think they have sent me jeans every time, but they all just didn't work. I think it was because of me, so I went on their website and updated my style profile. It worked because these were super cute and super flattering. I kept these too!
They also send you a style card with a personal note. It's great for outfit ideas!
Lastly, when you are done, you just put the items you don't want back in their pre-payed USPS bag, drop it off at the post office, and enjoy your new clothes.
It's pretty much the best thing since sliced bread. I love shopping more than most things in the world, but I love getting new types of clothes and ideas for outfits every month.
If you haven't signed up yet, click here to get started. And don't stress, because you can sign up for just one fix and/or cancel at any time.
Thanks for checking out all my sweet selfies :)
